Netflix has released the official trailer for “Unknown: The Lost Pyramid”, part of a four-part docuseries that pushes the boundaries of exploration through the stories of remarkable people and places never before captured on camera.
Premiering on July 3, 2023, “The Lost Pyramid” follows the journey of two Egyptologists as they reveal ancient secrets from the depths of the Saqqara desert, a hotbed of Egyptian archaeology. Dr. Zahi Hawass leads a team on a quest to uncover the long-lost pyramid of a forgotten Egyptian king, while his protege and rival, Dr. Mostafa Waziri embarks on a daring mission to locate an unlooted tomb in an ancient necropolis.
The trailer offers a peek into the two teams’ race for the bigger discovery, transporting viewers to the heart of Egypt’s mysteries, where ancient treasures await rediscovery, and the past comes alive in breathtaking detail.
