Star Yasmina El Abd attended the 2026 BoF 500 celebration after being selected for this year’s prestigious list by The Business of Fashion, joining a distinguished group of creatives and influential figures shaping the global fashion industry.

El Abd also attended in her capacity as a Dior ambassador for beauty and fine jewelry, alongside the House’s collections designed by Jonathan Anderson.

On another note, the teaser trailer for Wala Kan A’la El Baal, starring Nour El-Nabawy and Yasmina El Abd, was released in recent weeks. The film marks Yasmina El Abd’s feature film debut.

The film stars Nour El-Nabawy, Yasmina El Abd, and Ashraf Abdel Baki. Written by Eyad Saleh, directed by Ahmed Emad, and produced by Ahmed Badawy, the film is a social comedy.

Additionally, Yasmina wrapped up filming Mamsoos, which is set to be released in the coming months. Mamsoos marks her first venture into the horror genre.

The film follows a group of young people who embark on an adventure to investigate some of Egypt’s most notorious locations rumored to be haunted by jinn, hoping to uncover the truth behind the legends surrounding them.

Alongside Yasmina, the film features a number of young stars, including Omar Rozek, Youssef Raafat, Tara Abboud, and Abdel Rahman Mohammed. The upcoming film is written by Salah El Gehiny, directed by Yasir Alyasiri, and produced by Mohammed Nassar and Salah El Gehiny.

Currently, Yasmina’s new series 50/50 is airing on Yango Play. The series blends drama and suspense as it follows the story of Rania, a lawyer whose life unravels after her husband’s mysterious disappearance, prompting her transformation into a powerful woman bent on revenge.

Yasmina El Abd dazzled on the red carpet at the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, wearing creations by the prestigious global fashion house Dior. Yasmina was also officially announced as a Dior ambassador, representing the brand’s beauty, fine jewelry, and Jonathan Anderson collections.

El Abd’s latest work is the series Midterm, marking her first leading role in a drama. Spanning 30 episodes, Midterm brings together a dynamic ensemble cast including Yasmina El Abd, Youssef Raafat, Jala Hisham, Ziad Zaza, Dunya Wael, and more. Written by Mariam Al-Bagouri and Mohamed Sadek, with screenplay and dialogue developed by Barah Workshop, the series is directed by Mariam Al-Bagouri.

Most recently, Yasmina participated in the grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, earning widespread praise for her performance and appearance during the celebration.

Additionally, the European Union in Egypt has announced the appointment of Yasmina El Abd as Goodwill Ambassador for the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) for Integrated Water and Food Security in Egypt, a flagship collaboration bringing together the EU, its Member States, and European financial institutions to support Egypt in the key areas of water management and food security.

In parallel with her growing body of work, Yasmina continues to earn critical acclaim. She received a Special Jury Mention for Best Actress for her role in To Rima at the Port Said Film Festival, won the Best Young Actress Award at the NRJ Drama Awards for Lam Shamsiyya, and was honored at the Creative Summit for the same performance. Additionally, she received the Best Actress Award at the Dear Guest Awards.
