Yara Lotfy A New Edition Led by Female Artists, in Continued Dialogue with Egypt’s Ancient Legacy
Forever Is Now 06 returns for its highly anticipated sixth edition from November 4th until November 28th, 2026, at the iconic Pyramids of Giza. Organized by Art D’Égypte, the internationally acclaimed exhibition continues its mission of bringing together leading contemporary artists, this edition featuring French, American, Chinese, British-Jamaican, and Egyptian practices, to engage in dialogue with one of humanity’s most extraordinary cultural landmarks.
Set against the backdrop of the 4,500-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site, Forever Is Now invites artists to contemplate the wonder of ancient civilization through the lens of contemporary artistic practice. The exhibition has become the first and largest contemporary art exhibition of its kind at the Pyramids of Giza, transforming the historic site into a platform for global cultural exchange and artistic innovation.
The sixth edition explores the enduring relationship between humanity, architecture, and the natural world, drawing inspiration from the pyramids’ remarkable geometric precision, celestial alignment, and historical significance. Through site-specific installations and monumental contemporary artworks, participating artists will reflect on themes of continuity, spatial order, cultural memory, and the dialogue between past and present.
