In a year where momentum meets mastery, Jessica Hossameldin has become the name on everyone’s lips. From leading roles in Underage and Ezma to her dynamic presence in Safaah Al Tagmo3, she’s not just acting in 2025 — she’s owning it.
But behind the rising fame is a young woman balancing craft, passion, and an unstoppable drive to prove she’s a talent beyond everything. Flair sat down with Jessica to talk about her whirlwind year, the stories that move her, and the human side of a star on the rise.

Jessica, people are calling 2025 “your year.” Between Underage, Ezma, and Safaah Al Tagmo3, how does it feel to carry such momentum so early in your career?
I’m truly honored and grateful. It means so much to see my work recognized this early in my journey. I’m proud that my country has given me the chance to express myself through stories that reflect our culture and emotions. This momentum inspires me to keep growing and to give my best in everything I do.
In Underage, you step into your first big leading role. What drew you to this story, and how are you preparing yourself to carry a film on your shoulders?
Underage is a major step for me. I was drawn to the story because my character feels so relatable to many girls, which pushed me to prepare deeply and give it honesty. Working with director Yahia Ismaeil truly helped me bring the character to life in the most genuine way.
Safaah Al Tagmo3 brings you alongside Ahmed El Fishawy in a gripping storyline. What’s been the most exciting (or even intimidating) part of sharing the screen with such a bold cast?
Working alongside Ahmed El Fishawy was truly one of the most exciting parts of this project. I’ve always admired his talent and his fearless approach to every role. Being part of Safaah Al Tagmo3, with such a powerful story and cast, allowed me to explore new sides of my character in a very inspiring way.
Ezma is your third project this year, with Mohamed Sadek writing and directing. Do you ever feel overwhelmed juggling so many roles — and how do you recharge in between?
Alhamdulillah, I don’t feel overwhelmed at all — quite the opposite. Mohamed Sadek’s passion and energy make everyone want to give their absolute best. We prepare a lot, and I connect deeply with my character’s emotions, which makes it easy for me to step into her world once I’m on set.
Fans loved your recent performances in Kamel El Adad ++ and Montahi El Salahia. Looking back, do you think those roles helped shape the Jessica we see today?
Absolutely. I’ve always believed that through my work, I get to live stories I might never experience in real life — I live them through art. And along this journey, I’ve learned, understood, accepted, and even rejected different things, all of which have shaped the person I am today.
Beyond acting, you have passions for drawing, dancing, even horseback riding. Do these creative outlets sneak their way into your characters, or are they your escape from the spotlight?
Each of these passions has its own story. I started dancing when I was five, and it really helped me build confidence and express myself. Drawing has always been my way of translating emotions into something visual, and horseback riding isn’t just a sport for me — it’s an unconditional love and a deep connection. So, they’re not exactly an escape; they’re simply different ways I express who I am.
At just the start of your career, you’ve already taken part in more than 18 works. When you pick a role, what’s the one thing that tells you: this is mine?
For me, it’s all about connection. Once I feel something in the story that moves me or challenges me — especially when the character allows me to experience something new or speak up for an issue that matters — I know it’s mine. That feeling of purpose is what draws me in every time.
Finally, when people look back at Jessica Hossameldin’s 2025, what do you want them to remember most — the characters you played, or the woman you are becoming?
I hope people remember the woman I’m becoming — in every sense. Through my work, my humanity, and my journey of chasing dreams with honesty and passion. The characters are a part of me, but the person I’m growing into is what I hope truly stays with people.
