At just 16, Tuana El Gohary is already making waves on screen, from her breakout role in Kamel El Adad +1 to standout performances in films like Restart and Al-Safa Secondary Girls. With upcoming projects including Qalb Shams and The Full Story: Hell Game, she’s proving that talent, style, and a bold personality can make a young actress impossible to ignore

1. You started with Kamel El Adad +1 and quickly moved to films like Rest art and Al-Safa Secondary Girls. Which role made you feel, “Wow, I can really do this”?

After Kamel El Adad +1, I didn’t really expect much, but things just started happening. That’s when I felt like maybe this is something I’m actually meant to do.

2. Acting alongside big names like Dina El-Sherbiny, Tamer Hosny, and Yousra so early—what’s one thing you’ve learned from them that stuck with you?

I took something very special from each of them. Dina El Sherbiny is genuinely so kind and fun to be around, Tamer Hosny was really supportive, and Yousra is a legend with such a warm heart.

3. Your character in Restart was totally obsessed with social media. Did you ever relate to her, or was it totally out of your comfort zone?
I think I did relate to her at some point, I used to be really attached to my phone. Now it’s not as intense.

4. You’ve got exciting projects coming up like Qalb Shams and The Full Story: Hell Game. Are you drawn more to thrillers, emotional dramas, or a mix of both?
I’m really excited for both projects, but I’m especially into thrillers. I love the tension and the feeling of not knowing what’s coming next.

5. Style has always been a big part of how you express yourself. Has being in the spotlight changed the way you dress, or do you stick to what feels “you”?
My style changed mostly because i’m still growing and i feel like at this age everyone goes through different phases. Being in the spotlight does affect it a bit, but I still try to dress in a way that feels like me.

6. Red carpet glam or casual chic—what’s your go-to vibe when you’re off set but still want to feel stylish?
Casual chic, it just feels the most natural and comfortable to me.

7. Being Rania Mansour’s daughter, did you always feel the arts were part of your path? How does your family inspire or guide you creatively?
My mom inspires me a lot as an actress and as a woman, but I’ve always had a very creative side. I’ve always loved singing, dancing, drawing, everything. I feel like there’s still a lot I want to explore and showcase.

8. When you’re not acting or styling yourself, what sparks your creativity—music, travel, books, or something else?
Anything creative, honestly. I’d like to spend my time doing something i like and good at. That’s what I naturally gravitate toward.

9. Balancing school, work, and your growing career must be tricky. How do you keep your life feeling fun and not too overwhelming?
I try to romanticize everything and not take it for granted. I’m aware that it’s a blessing and i’m really grateful so i try to make the best out of what i do.
