Under the theme “Egypt Reset,” the summit, supported by several Egyptian ministries, drew international leaders and experts. In his speech, “My Drive to Succeed,” Mansour expressed his pride in the resilience of the Egyptian people, citing the upcoming Grand Egyptian Museum opening as a pivotal moment for the nation.
He stressed the crucial role of the private sector in Egypt’s economic development, advocating for purposeful, responsible growth and public-private partnerships. He also stressed on the importance of both entrepreneurs and philanthropists’ jobs to pay back our country by investing in it, whether through providing job opportunities or education.
Mansour also spoke about his dedication to giving back to Egypt, highlighting the “Right to Dream” Academy. This initiative aims to nurture young football talent, similar to Mohamed Salah, by combining sports with education. Mohamed Wasfy, CEO of Right to Dream Egypt, explained that the academy, established in 2021, operates across numerous Egyptian governorates, offering young athletes aged 10-18 opportunities to excel in both sports and academics. The academy provides access to international football clubs and top-tier US educational institutions, focusing on development, education, and character-building. Wasfy also detailed that the academy uses a school based education and elite level football training model to provide students with the ability to pursue international sporting careers and academic paths at prestigious institutions.
