From London fashion week to New York

Bold and Daring
Strong, defining lines are in! From incredibly dramatic eyes to more subtle lines, we’ve spotted this trend on the catwalks of Cushnie et Ochs, Honor and Nanette Leber. To get the look at home, try Charlotte Tilbury’s The Feline Flick Liquid Eye Pen in Panther, Ellis Faas’s Eyeliner in Black, and/or Maybelline’s Eyestudio in Black. Not a fan of black? MAC’s Fluidline comes in all different colors; from royal blue to petroleum green.
Golden Brown
Golden brown eyes are classic and timeless; they ooze elegance and beauty. Again, this trend can be played up or down, depending on where you’re going or what you’re wearing. Nevertheless, golden-brown eyes can never fail. This trend was spotted on the Oscar de La Renta catwalk and we loved it! Opt for the Burberry Beauty Eye Palette in Mocha, the Sisley Phyto-Ombre in Glow, the Chanel illusion D’Ombre in Fatal, and/or the MAC Golden Gaze eyeshadow to complete this look at home.
Juicy Lips
Juicy pouts were spotted at Rag & Bone, Michael Kors and Tibi! Why do we love this trend? It’s simple, elegant and fresh; perfect for the upcoming hot season! It’s also easy to maintain and to recreate at home, as long you pick the right shade according to your complexion. Try Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Lustre Luxe Color in Sweet Stiletto or the candy-colored Jolie Rouge by Clarins.
Metallics
Who doesn’t love metallics? They make quite the statement! Just be careful not to overdo it! Spotted at Jason Wu, recreate this look by using Chantecaille’s Le Chrome Luxe Eye Duo in Piazza San Marco, Dolce & Gabbana Mkeup’s Perfect Mono Eye Color in Dahlia, or Eye Tint Nr. 10 by Giorgio Armani Beauty.
Minimalism
Yes, barely-there makeup is also in this season, strongly contrasting some of the bolder, more dramatic looks! Alexander Wang and Jenny Packham were fans of this look, and admittedly it looks great, providing you invest in a good contour stick, such as Arists of Makeup by Zukreat Cosmetics; make sure you softly shade along the cheekbones and the eyes. Also invest in a good concealer such as this Tom Ford Concealing Pen, and a good foundation such as the much-loved Stick Foundation by Shiseido, or Make up Forever’s Pan Stick.
Red & Crimson
Red and crimson lips are epic, and one of my personal favorite trends! Seen on the Parabal Gurung’s catwalk, as well as many others, shades of red are everywhere! Depending on your complexion, opt for brighter shades or deeper crimson hues. Don’t forget the matching lipliner to create the perfect pout! For your lipliner, consider the Dior Countour in Rouge Royal or the Beauty Smooth Silk Lip Pencil Nr. 8 by Giorgio Armani Beauty. To fill in your lips, opt for the Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner in Crimson & Clover, Tom Ford’s Lip Color Matt in Ruby Rush or Yves Saint Laurent’s Candy Volupte Nr. 5.
