From Ludovic de Saint Serninโ€™s daring sensuality to Tarun Tahilianiโ€™s masterful craftsmanship, Dubai Fashion Week returns with a compelling showcase of international names and regional design talent.

The fashion world turns its attention to Dubai today as Dubai Fashion Week unveils its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, bringing five days of runway presentations, emerging talent, and distinctive creative perspectives to Dubai Design District. Running from October 22 to 26, this seasonโ€™s programme brings together established international designers and a new generation of regional voices, reinforcing the cityโ€™s growing presence on the global fashion stage.

Leading the opening day is Paris-based designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin, whose signature approach to sensuality, sculptural silhouettes, and shimmering finishes has earned his creations a devoted celebrity following. Closing the week on October 26 is Indian couturier Tarun Tahiliani, celebrated for his intricate draping and the meeting of traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary Western tailoring.

Yet the appeal of this season extends beyond its headline names. With designers from the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, and Latin America on the program, Dubai Fashion Week offers a meeting point for diverse aesthetics, fresh ideas, and evolving interpretations of modern dressing.

International Names And Distinctive Signatures

Few designers embody fashionโ€™s more daring sensibilities quite like Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Known for body-conscious silhouettes, luminous embellishments, and an unapologetically sensual design language, the Paris-based creative brings a distinctive edge to this seasonโ€™s opening.

Also taking the runway on opening day is Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al Jasmi, whose elaborate eveningwear is distinguished by intricate crystal embellishments and a pronounced sense of glamour. His creations bring a red-carpet sensibility to the programme, celebrating the artistry of occasion dressing.

At the other end of the week, Tarun Tahiliani will present the closing chapter of the event. One of Indiaโ€™s established fashion designers, Tahiliani is recognised for bringing together heritage craftsmanship and modern tailoring, particularly through fluid gowns and intricate draping inspired by the sari. His participation arrives as he prepares to open his first boutique outside India in Dubaiโ€™s Jumeirah district, marking a further connection between his house and the region.

Regional Creativity Takes Centre Stage

International recognition may draw attention to the runway, but regional creativity remains central to Dubai Fashion Weekโ€™s identity.

Palestinian-Greek designer Nafsika Skourti is set to present her latest collection on Friday, bringing together contemporary tailoring and crystal embellishments in a distinctive approach to womenswear. Her participation adds another perspective to a programme that continues to highlight the breadth of design talent emerging from the region.

Sunday will see the return of Lebanese label Lili Blanc, alongside the Dubai Fashion Week debuts of Emirati brands Onori and Kuni. Their presence reflects the growing diversity of the regional fashion landscape, where established design codes meet evolving creative identities.

Together, these designers contribute to a wider conversation about the regionโ€™s place in contemporary fashion, with Dubai serving as a platform for creative exchange and international visibility.

Where Fashion Meets Innovation

Beyond traditional runway presentations, this seasonโ€™s programme explores the intersection of fashion, craftsmanship, and innovation.

On Friday, Bahraini label Touchless will showcase its 3D-printed bags, bringing experimental design and emerging technology into the conversation. Egyptian eyewear brand Amr Saad will also present its accessories, adding a regional perspective to the seasonโ€™s wider exploration of design.

Saturday introduces a Latin American dimension, with collections from Colombian designers Laura Aparicio, Adriana Capasso, and Oda. The day will also feature a runway presentation by graduates of FADS Dubai fashion school, offering emerging creatives the opportunity to showcase their work within the official programme.

Away from the runway, Harvey Nichols Dubai at Mall of the Emirates will host a pop-up featuring selected participating designers, connecting the weekโ€™s creative output with the retail landscape and giving audiences another way to engage with the collections.
