Nahla Zayed Azza Fahmy High Jewellery unveils a new chapter in Tales of the Nile, bringing together exceptional gemstones, rich symbolism and the Houseโs distinctive craftsmanship.
At the forefront of the latest reveal are four new one-of-a-kind creations: the Diamond Snake Necklace, Ottoman Crescent & Star Earrings, Eternal Bloom Earrings and Lotus Embrace Ring. Together, the pieces expand the world of Azza Fahmy High Jewellery through powerful symbols of transformation, heritage and nature.
Each creation begins with exceptional stones personally selected by Head Designer Amina Ghali, allowing their individual cut, colour and form to guide the design.
Diamond Snake Necklace
The Diamond Snake Necklace reimagines the snake as a powerful symbol of transformation, renewal and protection.
Crafted in 18kt Gold, the one-of-a-kind necklace is designed over 20 ct of Diamonds in a distinctive composition of varying sizes and forms. A sculpted, Diamond-encrusted snake head forms the clasp, bringing a bold finishing detail to a piece shaped around the individual character of its stones.
Ottoman Crescent & Star Earrings
Drawing on the grandeur and symbolism of the 19th-century Ottoman Empire, the Ottoman Crescent & Star Earrings feature the historic crescent and star, both encrusted with Diamonds.
The one-of-a-kind 18kt Gold earrings are designed over 15.5 ct pear-cut Morganites, personally selected by Amina Ghali for their cut and colour. Their forms guide the composition, bringing together Ottoman-inspired symbolism with the Houseโs contemporary High Jewellery language.
Eternal Bloom Earrings
Nature takes centre stage in the Eternal Bloom Earrings, a one-of-a-kind 18kt Gold creation set with 18.92ct cushion-cut and pear-cut Morganites.
Adorned with Diamonds, the earrings come to life through intricate floral motifs, sculpted flowers and Azza Fahmyโs signature filigree technique, passed down through generations at the Houseโs workshop.
The individual cut, size and form of each stone shapes the design, creating a singular expression of nature and craftsmanship.
Lotus Embrace Ring
The Lotus Embrace Ring is designed around a remarkable 13.66ct oval-cut Morganite, bordered with Diamonds and set in 18kt Gold.
A symbol of power and life-giving force, the lotus extends across the sides of the ring, its sculpted form embracing the gemstone and reflecting the intricacy and symbolism at the heart of the design.
Azza Fahmyโs Connection to Ancient Egypt
Alongside these new additions, two statement creations place the collectionโs connection to Ancient Egypt firmly in focus: the Nile Lotus Choker and Eternal Sun Necklace.
Drawing from the treasures, symbols and visual language of Tutankhamun, both pieces reinterpret ancient Egyptian iconography through exceptional gemstones and the Houseโs contemporary design language.
The Nile Lotus Choker centres on a one-of-a-kind 7.5ct pear-cut Emerald, set within a hand-carved 18kt Gold choker inspired by Tutankhamunโs gold mask and royal nemes headdress.
Specially selected by Amina Ghali for its vivid colour and luminous depth, the gemstone evokes the fertile green of the lush river landscape that inspires the Tales of the Nile High Jewellery collection.
Diamond-encrusted lotus blossoms and daisies surround the gemstone, embracing the neck in a geometric pattern that echoes the regal symmetry of Theban temple decorations. Delicate gold chains with carved lotus terminals fall gracefully in a tassel suspended from the central gemstone, completing the homage to the iconic headdress.
The Eternal Sun Necklace draws inspiration from the bejewelled scarab pectorals found among the treasures of King Tutankhamunโs tomb.
At its centre lies a 6.88ct oval-cut Rubellite, symbolising the sun, above a carved golden scarab and the basket-shaped neb symbol. Together, these three elements represent King Tutankhamunโs Throne Name, Neb-kheperu-ra.
Specially selected by Amina Ghali for its radiant depth and inner fire, the one-of-a-kind gemstone recalls the glowing sunsets over the majestic river that inspires the Tales of the Nile High Jewellery collection.
Wings of Horus sweep around the scarab to form an almost complete circle of divine protection, while the Houseโs signature double Roman chain completes the 18kt Gold necklace, encrusted with over 2 ct of Diamonds.
Signature Azza Fahmy Symbols and Craftsmanship
Elsewhere in the collection, signature Azza Fahmy symbols, poetry and craftsmanship continue to unfold through a series of distinctive designs.
The Hand of Fatima Necklace revisits one of the Houseโs most recognisable protective motifs in 18kt Gold, combining intricate filigree and floral elements with a 4.60ct cushion-cut Emerald and the calligraphic phrase โOh Protector โ ูุง ุญุงุฑุณโ.
The multi-way Tales of Love Necklace brings together one of Azza Fahmyโs iconic chains with a 7.21ct octagon-cut Emerald framed by Diamonds and the poetic line โIn my heart I see you every day and every night โ ููููุฉ ููู ูู ุจููุจู ุฃุฑุงู.โ Handmade tassels and twisted wirework complete the design.
The Joy Necklace and Joy Earrings celebrate colour and sentiment through richly coloured Rubellites framed by Diamonds.
The necklace features 28.35ct of oval-cut Rubellites alongside pearls, filigree crescents and the words โHappiness & Joy โ ููุฑุญุฉ ุณุนุงุฏุฉโ, while the coordinating earrings feature 8.13ct oval-cut Rubellites, echoing the same vibrant character.
Completing the Joy story, the Joy Bangle centres on a one-of-a-kind 6.57ct cushion-cut Rubellite framed by Diamonds.
Lace-like calligraphy reading โJoy โ Happiness โ ูุฑุญุฉ โ ุณุนุงุฏุฉโ encircles the stone, complemented by the Houseโs signature twisted wirework.
