It’s no surprise that viewers tend to watch more horror in October. In Egypt, consumption of scary movies and series grows by a staggering 88% during Halloween. In tribute of that and to ensure that members get their dose of frights this Halloween, Netflix is launching a number of horror films and series this October.
The Haunting of Hill House
Based on the namesake novel by Shirley Jackson, the show follows the lives of five siblings as they grow up in the most famous haunted house in America, Hill House. With 10 sixty-minute episodes, it will offer you a long, spine-chilling binge.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Netflix bring you a dark reimagination of the Archie comic, Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Starring Kiernan Shipka, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature – half-witch, half-mortal – while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit. Interestingly enough, Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who also serves as chief creative officer of Archie Comics, penned the script for this series.
