A few days ago, celebrities converged upon the red carpet in London for the annual Brit Awards, which this year marked its 30th anniversary and honoured the best in music from the past year in total. Some celebrities settled for classic red-carpet attire, whereas others wore outlandish designs that were sure to draw notice. Here is our list for the best and worst looks on the carpet in that order.

Best Dressed

Jodie turner Smith

Jodie is a stunner herself, but that metallic lamé Zuhair Murad gown with glittering Chopard jewelry just earned her number-one spot on our list. Her complexion against that bold color of the dress serves the whole purpose of a red carpet look.

Camille Razat

We are obsessing over her looks in real life as much as in Emily in Paris, the starlet turned heads in an all black Robert Wun gown from this year’s collection with a waist line and layered pleated skirt, and Chopard jewellery. Her makeup and simple beach waves golden locks complemented the look, tres chic indeed.

Maya Jama

The Love Island Host opted for a midi Schiaparelli dress with glittering gold accents that accentuated her curves.

Harry Styles

We are used to seeing colorful vibrant and textured looks from Mr. Styles; however, he rocked the flared black jacket and trousers look, with an enormous matching corsage on his neck by Harris Reed for Nina Ricci..

Lizzo

We often look forward to seeing her fit choices and this time, she did not disappoint. The “Good as Hell” singer opted for a metallic gold full-length ruffle Robert Wun dress that hugged her in all the right places.

Salma Hayek

We are pretty sure she found the fountain of youth and still gate-keeping the secret. Never fails to impress, Hayek wore a black leather Alexander McQueen look with fishnets and lace-up platform boots. Ate and left no crumps.

Lucien Lavioscount

At the event, Lucien wore a black suit and tie with Prada signature all over. Dashing!

Shania Twain

The iconic singer flaunted the red carpet in a fitted yellow dress with some dazzling David Morris jewelery.

Worst Dressed

Sam Smith

Sam Smith’s wardrobe choices have changed drastically as of lately. He slayed the “Unholy” performance, but the look was a bit Met Gala-ish. Missing the right tone, Sam Smith made the top of our list dressed in a sculptured latex suit by Kerala.

Ashnikko

The bold singer’s choice made everyone uncomfortable to say the least. Ashinko layered skin on skin on the red carpet in a latex outfit.

Eliza Rose

Though she was paying tribute to the icon Vivienne Westwood, something about her Marie-Antoinette renaissance did not feel right.

Ellie Goulding

Don’t get us wrong, we love a black attire. But this gladiator sculpted top is not doing it for us.
