Mercedes Ener-G-Force

It’s the hot mean green machine; too mean and too green to be true.
Mercedes gives us a peek into the future with this avant-garde vehicle, imagining what it would be like if off-road technology and green technology came hand in hand through the Mercedes Ener-G-Force.

This concept SUV was showcased at the LA Auto Show as part of the Los Angeles Design Challenge 2012. Mercedes-Benz focused on the needs of agencies that need a more capable vehicle instead of a building a car for law enforcement, which was the primary idea of the challenge

Only a concept car, Mercedes has put in major effort and resources into building this concept and making it as conceivable as they could and to foresee the future giving us a little peek if such a car with these capabilities existed. It would sure revolutionize the world of cars and the world to say the least.

Imagine if this vehicle was brought to life, with  “hydro-tech converter” to convert water into hydrogen for its fuel cell power, emitting nothing but water vapor! Unfortunately this fact is too good to be true and it is yet not viable to use recycled water as fuel.

The model is also built to host a four wheel-hub electric motors, which is powerful enough to handle any terrain and a terra-scan system that can read 360 degrees of landscape and adjust the suspension accordingly.

The Mercedes Ener-G-Force has the same aesthetics as of the G-Class cars.

The concept is still in the dream stage of development with no plans of happening any time soon. It is too technologically advanced, but one should never give up hope of having green technology that would makes us totally independent of oil as fuel.
