Back in the 1910s, Paris attracted a community of artists from all over the globe and various fields of music, dance, painting, sculpture and poetry, who decided to make it their home and ultimate inspiration. Their interaction together is what caused numerous art movements, including Orphism, which focuses on color harmonies to convey movement and energy.

Having always been inspired by abstract and modern art, Moynat artistic director Ramesh Nair drew on this movement to design a line of bold, colorful straps – for the purpose of embellishing some of the most iconic bags at Moynat: Réjane BB, Gabrielle, Gaby, Joséphine, Danse, Limou sine and Pauline.

The new cotton textile straps are mounted on classic Moynat Taurillon Gex leather and bound in leather. They are available in two geometric patterns – a linear graphic and a herringbone. For further customization, two lengths are offered for each pattern and the snap hooks can be found in both gold and silver finishes.
