From live-action Disney feature films to yet another brilliant Bond movie, here are the top movies we can’t wait to watch next year.

Mulan
Disney, please don’t ruin this classic. Honestly, Lion King was a letdown and we don’t want to see a repeat of that. It’s crazy if you don’t know the story of Mulan but just in case you don’t know, it’s about a young Chinese woman who pretends to be a man in order to serve in the army instead of her sick father.

Cruella
Who doesn’t love a good villain movie? The Joker, anyone? Given that Cruella is one of the top Disney villains that made us shiver when we were kids, this should be interesting. This movie is a prequel to the 101 Dalmatians, which follows the story of a young Cruella de Vil and how she turned into a maniac obsessed with spots.

Wonder Woman 1984
This is so exciting because it’s a sequel to Wonder Woman, which was a beautiful, coming-of-age superhero movie. The plot is yet to be made public. All we know from the trailer is that Steve Trevor is back but we don’t know how they brought him back to life. We also noticed the introduction of two new villains, Maxwell Lord and The Cheetah.

The Flash
Starring Ezra Miller, this movie is based on the illustrious comic book. The plot follows Barry Allen who gets struck by lightning on a stormy night, develops super speed power and becomes The Flash, the superhero guardian of Central City.

Green Lantern Corps
We don’t really know how to feel about this one. A group of humans join the alien police force to engage in a war against Sinestro Corps, another interstellar army led by the former Green Lantern Sinestro, who wants to rule the universe with fear.

No Time To Die
Another Bond movie and we’re so here for it. We’ll never get tired of these. In this sequel, Bond has left active service but an old friend from the CIA asks him for help and he ends up facing a new villain with harmful new technology.

The King’s Man
Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Matthew Goode and Gemma Arterton, this movie is not to be confused with Kingsman: The Secret Service. In a nutshell, it’s about one man standing against some of the worst criminal masterminds in history who have gotten together to start a war that will kill millions of people.

Godzilla vs. Kong
As if the title isn’t indicative enough, we’ll get to watch the colossal Kong fight Godzilla in a grand battle to become King of the Monsters. Expect an insane mix of action, sci-fi and thriller vibes.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife
Starring none other than Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace and our beloved Paul Rudd, the plot follows a single mom and her two kids as they move to a small town and discover a connection to the original Ghostbusters.

Dune
Adapted from Frank Herbert’s novel, the movie is about a son from a noble family entrusted with the protection of something very valuable. As mysterious as that sounds, the sci-fi drama is expected to drop some jaws, featuring Rebecca Ferguson, Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa and Zendaya.
