AMMANII’s Queens

With a brand born out of a desire to tell stories and unite women while transcending cultural barriers, it was no surprise that the latest collection launched by AMMANII was aptly titled Malikat (Arabic for queens).

“I put a very personal part of me in this collection because I truly want women to connect together and most importantly cherish their inner queen,” said Amany Shaker, the designer behind her namesake label AMMANII.

In light of the increasing women empowerment movements, AMMANII was keen to pay tribute to the ruling females of ancient Egypt by telling the stories of the inspiring work they did in governing countries, leading armies and unifying their people.

Always keeping the same DNA, but with a bolder twist for the collection, Malikat features a splendid selection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings that are beautifully hand-crafted in vermeil gold. By infusing historical elements with a modern approach, the attention to detail in each piece makes each one a masterpiece in its own right.

Through Malikat, AMMANII strives to celebrate the glorious history of bold-spirited women who ruled the world, which is translated into the crafts and details of every design – designs that carry stories and emotions. Transcending all barriers, these pieces are a way for women to connect together and understand cultures that are not their own.
