Somabay Set to Make a Splash Again with Hosting World Aquatics Triple Event Extravaganza

Following the success of last year’s event, Somabay is proud to announce the grand return of the World Aquatics series for the second consecutive year in collaboration with the World Aquatic Federation (FINA) and the Egyptian Swimming Federation. Set against the stunning backdrop of Somabay Marina, this year’s addition will feature three international events, scheduled for March, May, and August respectively.

The festivities kick off in with the prestigious World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup 2024 on March 23rd and 24th, with Egypt being the first stop among five hosting countries worldwide, drawing participants and spectators from around the globe.

Next up is the highly anticipated World Aquatics Elite Beach Water Polo World Cup 2024, scheduled from May 23rd to 26th, promising thrilling matches and intense competition.

Wrapping up the series is the World Aquatics Under 18 Beach Water Polo Cup 2024, slated for August 28th to 31st, showcasing the talents of young water polo stars from across the world. With 80 nations and 15 national federations set to participate, the events promise to be a celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and international camaraderie.
