Grace Yourself; When Less is More

Founded in 2020, the fine jewellery brand Grace launched its very first collection, embodying a rather unique message – ‘Grace Yourself.’ With exquisite detail and an elegant touch, it highlights the simple yet important things in life that we sometimes take for granted. If we learned anything from the past year, it is that ‘less is more,’ and that’s exactly what you get with the stunning variety of minimal pieces offered in this collection.

What you may not know is that Grace is actually the sister brand to the esteemed El Baz Jewelry. Describing the essence of his new brand, Youssef El Baz told us, “Stemming from the meaning of the word, the brand name ‘Grace’ is a symbol of honor, decency and tranquility. Grace believes in the power of harmony and giving back to the world from which it arose from. Gold is a source of healing and humanity is stronger in unity. Together it creates “the grace of the golden people” through jewelry that saves the world. With every piece of glory, Grace’s designs represent the smoothness of elegant movement, reflecting the beauty of simplicity.”

While the family legacy already precedes him, Youssef brings modern, fresh experience to the table. After having spent some time in Barcelona taking jewellery design and craftsmanship courses at El Taller de Joyería, he also took a diamond grading course at HRD Antwerp in Belgium, which happens to be Europe’s most prominent organization in grading of diamonds.

Introducing three distinctive, thematic lines, Grace Yourself branches into ‘The Trendy’, ‘The Abstract’ and ‘For A Better Tomorrow’. Made from 18k gold, the pieces integrate a touch of rare pearl to represent purity. At first glance, you will notice a common thread between them is the sense of minimal artistic luxury.

First off, ‘The Trendy’ line ranges from simple earrings to delicate rings, bracelets and a gorgeous collar necklace adorned with pearls. These pieces are designed to be versatile so they can be stacked and layered together to create that modern, fashion-forward look Hailey Bieber is known for. Our favorite pieces from this line are the Crescent Arm Cuff, the Criss Cross Earrings and the Squared Ring.

Drawing inspiration from various aspects of nature, ‘The Abstract’ line was curated specifically for the dreamers and creatives, those who only opt for wearing special pieces that narrate stories and adventures. The set that stands out the most to us from this line is The Gold Lens, which resembles a detailed camera in the form of earrings and a bracelet in 18k gold.

Finally, ‘For A Better Tomorrow’ embodies a distinctive style, as it captures general themes of  love, compassion and acceptance that help people bond and grow together in unity. What makes this line very special is that it serves different charity foundations supporting diverse causes, including the environment, animal abuse, antiracism, refugees, children’s hospitals and breast cancer patients. If we had to pick, the Golden Moments set is our ultimate favorite from this line. 

Not only does the collection, as a whole, have a direct influence on society and environmental responsibility, it also speaks to women from different walks of life, while offering a sense of refined quality and exceptional charm.
