Famous for its unique up-cycled and eco-friendly pieces, the renowned lifestyle brand Up-Fuse is back with a new collection, this time in collaboration with Egyptian artist Farahzada El Shihy. If you haven’t heard about her, Farahzada is the type of artist who really stands out with her bold and colorful illustrative art. Together, they joined forces and launched a new mesmerizing collection of ecological bags, titled ‘The Ripples’.

More than just another fashion collection, it is an artistic statement that supports an important environmental cause. The creative collection of sustainable bags includes a shoe bag, a gym bag, a shopping bag and a waterproof laundry bag – all made of 100% recycled plastic with hand-painted patterns and bold colors. The theme is all about raising awareness regarding conscious buying while maintaining a contemporary, trendy and fashionable twist that you can proudly wear with style.

Run by three powerful women, Rania Rafie, Yara Yassin and Lama El Khawanky, Up-Fuse was able to recycle 18000 plastic bags while providing 50 Egyptian women with a sustainable income during the past year. Their vision recognizes their role in supporting local communities and reducing risk
on the environment.

As for the young artist, Farahzada is recognized for her passion and talent. Always playing around with shapes and colors, she has the prowess to turn them into a beautiful, original piece of art.
