Novikov Dubai will not be a small or low-key affair by any means—just as we would expect. The 13,000-square-metre space at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road will boast its own imposing entrance and seats for 280. Sprawling luxuriantly over two floors, the contemporary space melds traditional luxury with contemporary design. Granite floors, natural leather, and jade accents create an atmosphere of inviting languid extravagance.
The restaurant is cleverly delineated into four distinct zones around an open kitchen to keep the feel of the space intimate and engaging. Guests can enjoy drinks at the Bar & Lounge, light fare at the Sushi Counter, or the full menu in Novikov’s main dining room. There is also a mezzanine floor housing an exclusive private dining room for those VIP events that Dubai does best.
Novikov’s interior design strikes the right atmospheric note while showcasing the true highlight of the venue: the cuisine. The cutting edge menu evokes the spirit of an Asian food market while delivering the refinement and pleasure of a five star dining experience. The menu takes guests on a trip from Japan, to China, to Southeast Asia, with signature dishes including Novikov Peking Duck, King Crab Leg Wasabi Gratin, and Toro Tartare with Caviar.
