The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards were, to put it mildly, dramatic. They featured a number of performances, Olivia Rodrigo’s VMAs debut, and a fierce appearance by Lil Nas X. The 2022 VMAs featured a lot of dramatic fashion as well. At the event this year, hosted by Jack Harlow and LL Cool J and held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, artists like Bad Bunny and Nicki Minaj performed.
