Torii’s New Asian Fusion Extravaganza!

Cairo Marriott’s very own little piece of Asia, Torii, now serves a whole new menu of delicious Asian fusion dishes and of course, live Teppanyaki. But that’s not all folks; sushi lovers can now enjoy fresh all you can eat sushi every Monday and Friday!

To celebrate the new menu, Torii invited Cairo’s biggest media, influencers and tastemakers to try out the delicious new menu. The event, which took place in May, attracted many people that the restaurant filled up as soon as the event started. Guests enjoyed sampling the sushi rolls, fried seafood and of course the live Teppanyaki show. The chef lit up the restaurant with a big flame live show that instantly had everyone standing around the chef and recording the mesmerizing moment. Marketing Communications Director, Ghada Abdel Khalek put her skills to the test and got into the show for a bit of fun with the chef and guests.

The chefs have created a menu that combines traditional favourites with innovative new dishes. Whether you are looking for your favourite dish or feeling a little adventurous, there is plenty to enjoy. Starting with crispy Japanese Tacos that will rile up your appetite. Whether you enjoy seafood or vegetarian, you will find your taco. The Chef’s signature rolls are to die for. Try the Joy Roll and enjoy the explosion of smoked salmon with eel, cream cheese, avocado and a twist of pineapple. For those of you who are not big on seafood, the Chicken Cashew is a Torii Specialty and is perfect for those who love it a bit spicy. You can never go wrong when you go for noodles, take your pick from glass, fried wheat or Chinese egg noodles to compliment your meal.

The main show is definitely the Live Teppanyaki station where the chefs bring the magic out to the restaurant and give you a full experience. The set menus come with soup, rice, salad, a main of your choice and fruit slices. You can enjoy the hour and a half experience with your family or friends, up to eight people.
