Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Are Reportedly Back Together

According to Page Six that never misses, Los Angeles reunites the iconic duo, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Newly single stars J.Lo and Affleck made headlines when she and her ’00s ex-fiancé were photographed spending time together at her house in LA; as Ben was seen leaving a car that reportedly belongs to Jennifer, as well. However, it was made obvious by numerous outlets through trusted sources that they are just friends.

Nevertheless, that was definitely not a one-and-done thing, and it also happened after so many years of them not hanging out; they have to catch up properly. Affleck and Lopez’s timeline date back from July 2002 to January 2004. They canceled their wedding that was supposed to be in September 2003 then broke up, only to get back together before calling it quits for good in early 2004. Ben Affleck recently made it obvious that they, at least, had been on good terms since their split, as he recently gushed about how hard-working and smart she is to Instyle; as he expressed how happy he is that she’s finally getting the credit she deserves.

It is a fact that both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck respect one another, feel comfortable around each other, and even admire each other professionally; so, it makes sense that they might need to spend one-on-one time together time. It wasn’t until recently that Bennifer went through breakups. For Jen, she called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. They both announced: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.” After reports that Rodriguez had been chatting with Madison LeCroy, the Southern Charm star, it was rumored that they broke up in mid-March. A-Rod, for one, doesn’t seem to be coping well with the heartbreaking breakup; because sharing a bizarre Coldplay-set tribute to their relationship on Instagram isn’t quite the best sign. A source recently told People, “He wants to get back together with Jennifer. But to her, their relationship is over.”

On the other hand, for Ben, it was a different story with the same destination. After spending most of 2020 drinking an excessive amount of Dunkin iced coffee with his Deep Water co-star Ana de Armas, Affleck split with her in January. De Armas broke the news to Affleck, who then reportedly trashed his life-size cutout of her.

Even though we’re happy that Bennifer reunited and with taking into consideration the number of sources stating that they are just friends, something about their meetups seems to align with the statements. To keep the secrecy of their hangouts, Ben is picked up in a white Escalade SUV by J.Lo’s security at the Hotel Bel-Air and taken to the “On the Floor” singer’s house, where he stays for a few hours before being returned to his car at the Hotel Bel-Air parking garage. Page Six’s insider said, “Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after a few hours at her home.”
