Recycled, reclaimed, and green furniture recently gained popularity in the furniture and interiors world, with more designers going green and reusing products for sustainable–yet creative–designs. By giving new functions to familiar items, designers all over the globe are restoring and creating beautifully unique pieces. Famous labels like Squint, for example, approached the latter through patchwork; creating fabulous and colorful soft furnishings and seating’s. South African furniture designer, Katie Thompson, created a truly inspiring range of furniture, in which she combined antique and vintage items with modern elements.

Whether you prefer patchwork, reclaimed wooden tables, tree stump stools, suitcase-chairs, license plates home accents, cardboard chair and/or cork mats, owning a unique piece of recycled furniture will definitely make a statement in your living space, not to mention…it is also for a very good cause.
