At first glance you might mistake these storage units for a giant gemstones, but these extravagant luxury cabinets by Boca Do Lobo not only look like jewelry, but they are covered in actual silver leaf with an amethyst high gloss varnish finish.

These intricately constructed sideboards are made out of solid oak wood that has been through a complex process of folding and creasing to resemble the dimensions of a diamond.

This crown jewel of Boca Do Lobo’s limited edition furniture collection is influenced by the Gothic furniture of the Romantic period however aesthetically it boasts both abstract modernism and history.

The lavish piece features highly sculptured doors with a gold leaf interior of shelves and two drawers, lifted by four mahogany legs that are elaborately hand carved to look like a lion’s head and finished off with a gold leaf. Perfectly suited for an upscale modern interior space reflecting an urban and classical lifestyle that would create a luxurious cosmopolitan environment.

Designed by Marco Costa to justify Boca Do Lobo’s reputation as furniture jewelers the furniture piece entailed many techniques such as joinery and carving all of which were made by hand.

It’s apparent that high-end furniture manufacturer reflects passion and artisan wisdom of many years into each manually crafted piece and the diamond sideboard perfectly compliments Boca Do Lobo’s identity.
