Candy Beat Contest With Christina Aguilera

Taking on a new route, the brand recently announced the launch of a SweetBEATS online music mixer and contest, in collaboration with none other than the iconic pop singer Christina Aguilera.

On this collaborative venture, Aguilera said, “My songs have celebrated individuality, boldness and inclusivity since the day I first stepped foot into a recording studio, and SweeTARTS stands for those exact values. That’s why I can’t wait to hear what my fellow SweeTARTS fans dream up on the SweetBEATS mixer and help the winning artist make their music dream a reality.” 

In this project, fans of both the artist and…candy are invited to merge rhythm and melody to create a unique beat that stands out and expresses their personal creativity. Using the SweetBEATS music mixer, they can mix and match their own tunes from a myriad of pre-programmed melodies and rhythms, all of which draw inspiration from SweeTARTS’ candy portfolio of Ropes, Chewy and Originals. After that, the Top 20 entries will be filtered, according to fan votes online, and the winner will then be handpicked by the pop queen herself.

Not only does the winner get to brag about that, but he/she will also get one-on-one personal advice from Aguilera, as she helps them upgrade their beat and even turn it into a final track recorded in a professional studio! While the runner-ups from the Top 20 will miss out on this special privilege, they will still each earn a prize package of a whole summer-long supply of SweeTARTS. Not too shabby..
