Azza Fahmy Jewellery, is thrilled to unveil its latest creation, the Lotus Collection. Comprising 13 meticulously crafted pieces made from 18kt Gold and Sterling Silver, this collection is a captivating tribute to the Lotus flower, a symbol deeply ingrained in ancient Egyptian history and culture.

The collection holds a deeply cherished place in the hearts of Creative Director Azza Fahmy and Head Designer Amina Ghali, and is a testament to their unwavering passion for Egypt’s heritage. Embarking on this mesmerizing exploration of the past, Azza Fahmy draws inspiration from the sacred tombs and temples of Egypt, where the Lotus flower has held profound significance for millennia. The Lotus, symbolizing creation and rebirth, is celebrated in this collection as a representation of the flourishing dawn.

The collection includes the Lotus Pectoral Collar and the Lotus Bouquet Cuff, both featuring the Lotus flower in various natural forms. They are surrounded by pharaonic flowering lotuses, lotus buds, lily-pads, and rosettes, with “ehker” signs denoting adornment. The Lotus Drop Earrings encapsulate ancient Egyptian symbols, drawing inspiration from the shen-sign representing eternity.

The Lotus Union Bangle draws its inspiration from the Sema-tawy symbol, symbolizing the unity of Upper and Lower Egypt through the binding of the Lotus and Papyrus. Lastly, the Lotus Blossom Ring elegantly represents a budding lotus. In ancient Egypt, such blossoming lotus bouquets were placed on offering tables, symbolizing love and devotion to both loved ones and the gods.

This collection transcends mere jewelry; it is a celebration of elegance, beauty, and heritage. Each piece is a tribute to ancient Egypt’s legacy, a culture that continues to inspire and captivate the world.

The collection is available now in all Azza Fahmy boutiques or online at www.azzafahmy.com.
