Cairo – November 2026 – Al Rawi – The Storyteller Award has revealed the jury for its second edition, bringing together some of the region’s most accomplished artists, writers, and media pioneers. Drawing on their expertise, the jury will select exceptional young talent across multiple disciplines. These awards aim to nurture this next generation of creators, showcase their work, and present a contemporary vision of Egypt through the eyes of its youth, while strengthening their sense of belonging.

The second edition of Al Rawi – The Storyteller Award is held under the auspices of four ministries: the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Ministry of Culture, and in partnership with e& Egypt as the official technology partner.

The jury brings together more than 28 prominent figures from film, television, music, publishing, advertising, and digital content, divided into nine committees corresponding to the competition’s categories. This year’s jury features Egyptian advertising pioneer Tarek Nour, acclaimed actress Yousra, actor Amr Youssef, director Marwan Hamed, and award-winning composer, alongside producer and screenwriter Mohamed Hefzy, novelist and screenwriter Ahmed Mourad, screenwriter Mariam Naoum, screenwriter Tamer Habib, and producer Tarek El Ganainy. Each committee also includes additional established creatives, ensuring a breadth of expertise across the competition’s diverse artistic disciplines.

This year, Al Rawi will honor exceptional talent across multiple categories: Digital Content (1-minute reel), Long-Form Documentary (5 minutes max), Short Film (30 minutes max), Monologue Video (2 minutes max), Scriptwriting Award(up to 3,000 words), Photography, Art, Music, and Culinary Video. Each category winner will receive a prize of 200,000 EGP.

Submissions for the second edition of Al Rawi – The Storyteller Award, which celebrates young talent under the theme “How You See Egypt,” will officially open in January 2026, with full eligibility criteria and submission guidelines to be announced via Al Rawi’s official social media channels.
