Art Cairo is set to take place this month, from February 8th to the 11th, at the iconic Grand Egyptian Museum, after a special VIP Preview is set to take place beforehand on the 7th of February. Under the theme “Peace to All Nations,” this year’s festival is aimed to foster connection between all participants and guests and encourage the use of art to spread awareness, as the region tackles such challenging times.

Bound to make history for both the amateur art lover, and the consummate collector, this year’s Art Cairo will take place in the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum – home to the most important and coveted pieces of Ancient Egyptian artefacts. With a showcase that includes Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Sudanese and Emirati art – to name a few – the 6th edition “Unites diverse voices, amplifies emerging talent, supports existing ones, and empowers the role of art in positively shaping our society by promoting human connection,” Mohamed Younis, Founder and Managing Director of Art Cairo expressed..

“Art Cairo is a catalyst for cultural dialogue and a springboard for growth across the art sector. By bridging the local and global, Art Cairo transforms creativity into a driving force for progress, preserving our MENA heritage while inspiring future generations”, Younis added. “A nexus for creative contemplation and, more importantly, human connection, Art Cairo this year aims to resound the collective call for hope and togetherness.”

In partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the 2025 edition of Art Cairo will also present an exclusive exhibition showcasing famous pieces from renowned Egyptian artists, including Inji Aflatoun (1924-1989), Gazbia Sirry (1925-2021) and Tania Halim (1919-2003) – all of which were curated from the Egyptian Museum of Modern Art.
