Arkan Plaza, the prime location for business, retail, and leisure in Sheikh Zayed, will host the Arkan Art Week exhibition from Thursday, November 11 to Wednesday 17.
A private open reception was organized on Wednesday, November 10th featuring a live music performance by Nathalie Bichara in presence of artists and curators, high-profile guests, and media representation.
Arkan Art Week will feature more than 50 artists, exhibiting fine artworks from every medium, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, mixed media, and photography in collaboration with prestigious fine art galleries including Gyptian, Art Empowers, ZagPick Gallery, The Arts Hub, and many independent artists under Gyptian’s management. The event is planned and managed by Inka, Arkan’s event management arm.
Art Empowers will also host talks and workshops, most notably an interactive painting workshop moderated by the renowned Mohamed Abla.

Egyptian co-founder Nour El Demerdash highlighted the role played by Arkan in providing a platform for talented young artists in Egypt, who often suffer the lack of such spaces. She added that, together with Arkan, artists enjoy a unique opportunity to exhibit their artwork to the public while also getting the chance to sell some of their best work.
