While men in Egypt have been lucky to shop from Hugo Boss stores in the city, now women can find the latest from the luxury brand as its Spring/Summer 2018 collection is now available for the first time at the Hugo Boss store in City Stars. For the new season, the boss woman heads to the coast in a new collection, entitled ‘Summer of Ease’, created under the artistic direction of Jason Wu. The collection is more relaxed than ever before, with a nautical mood evoking a new ease.
The brand’s signature tailoring also gets new attitude. Clean pantsuits are crafted from lightweight materials and tailored jackets are paired with fuller skirts, adding an easy-going edge. Accessories complete the collection, featuring striped waxed- canvas totes, slouchy snake-print hobo bags and structured leather shoulder bags, finished with handwoven leather. Shoes for the season follow suit. Strappy sandals feature the same woven leather details; clean, modern leather mules add a new sophistication and blue espadrilles take a step into the summer.
In a clear expression of a nautical palette, blues, yellow and white form the base of the collection. Moving deeper into the season, sun-faded shades of pale blue and pink are shot through with sunset orange and vibrant purple, while natural shades of canvas and sand ground the collection in its seaside surroundings.
