Flair Magazine While men in Egypt have been lucky to shop from Hugo Boss stores in the city, now women can find the latest from the luxury brand as its Spring/Summer 2018 collection is now available for the first time at the Hugo Boss store in City Stars. For the new season, the boss woman heads to the coast in a new collection, entitled ‘Summer of Ease’, created under the artistic direction of Jason Wu. The collection is more relaxed than ever before, with a nautical mood evoking a new ease.
The brand’s signature tailoring also gets new attitude. Clean pantsuits are crafted from lightweight materials and tailored jackets are paired with fuller skirts, adding an easy-going edge. Accessories complete the collection, featuring striped waxed- canvas totes, slouchy snake-print hobo bags and structured leather shoulder bags, finished with handwoven leather. Shoes for the season follow suit. Strappy sandals feature the same woven leather details; clean, modern leather mules add a new sophistication and blue espadrilles take a step into the summer.
In a clear expression of a nautical palette, blues, yellow and white form the base of the collection. Moving deeper into the season, sun-faded shades of pale blue and pink are shot through with sunset orange and vibrant purple, while natural shades of canvas and sand ground the collection in its seaside surroundings.
