For its spring/summer 21’ collection, Boss presents very laid back, elegant vibes for your wardrobe this season. Picture effortless silhouettes and cool denim with leather details and muted neutral tones that will never go out of style. The new range of daywear pieces is characterized by minimal design, simple cuts and statement outerwear. Indulge in the joy of a summer breeze in a straight-cut shirt and flared shorts or rock the full-on denim look, paired with one of Boss’ new sandal designs and iconic handbags.

Before sending the collection to their showroom in Milan, chief brand officer Ingo Wilts had been diligently with his team to create and bring everything to life in Germany. Regarding Covid restrictions, Wilts explained, “We were one of the last ones who showed last season, and we are one of the first to show now. Coming back to Milan is a show of optimism. Plus, we are German, we have rules, and we will follow the rules for our 133 guests and our staff very carefully.”

On the creative process behind the collection, Wilts told Vogue, “When we started designing this collection last year we were not expecting lockdown and I would have said it was: Tailoring! Heritage! But we had to adjust everything. We still have the tailored side, but we pushed the casualization. This collection is more casual than ever for Boss.”

If you miss Boss’ iconic edgy suits, there is no need to fear. You will find a number of long-line pieces within the new collection. Available in camel and pale blue, every style is elegant in its own way, whether it flaunts rounded shoulders or trendy slouchy trousers. Interestingly enough, sometimes suit jackets were actually paired with statement cargo pants and flat hiking sandals – something we never thought we would be on board with, but hey, they definitely pulled it off.

What we love most about Hugo Boss is not only the originality expressed in seasonal collections, but also the signature clean cuts and unique tailoring consistently manifested in every new collection. That’s why the brand continues to be a global fashion leader in a variety of fields, such as evening wear, casual wear, sports apparel, and even eyewear and statement watches, all while being an iconic ambassador brand for golf, sailing, soccer and motorsports.
