It all started in 1957 when Hubert de Givenchy was originally making a fragrance for his friend Audrey Hepburn. In 2018, the Givenchy House started a new chapter by launching the memorable Eau de Parfum. Today, the journey carries on with L’Interdit Eau de Toilette.

Created by the mighty perfumer trio, Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal, this new edition has an intense and airy fragrance. It can be described as a mix of bold and refreshing, achieved by the power of the Pavot flower. Bringing a floral radiance to a white bouquet, the flower compliments the blend of a subversive vetiver and patchouli accord.

Paying tribute to the 1957 original, the bottle’s theme is timelessness and modernity. It comes with elegant rounded corners and a transparent effect to reveal the luminous shade of the nude-colored fragrance. Laced around the neck of the bottle is a grey satin ribbon sealed with the House’s emblem, which is the silver 4G logo.

The face of L’Interdit is none other than the graceful Rooney Mara, captured by David Sims for the campaign visuals. While this talented actress is known for pushing beyond her limits in one too many remarkable performances, she symbolizes the powerful mood of this fragrance. Whether you watch her in art house films or Hollywood blockbusters, you’ll understand what we mean.
