Having only launched in February of this year, Lili Blanc is a brand new Dubai-based fashion label making comfortable wardrobe staples for the everyday working woman.

The story actually began in the quarantine era, in the summer of 2020, when the founder, Sabrina Muhieddin, spotted a gap in the market, where it was missing relaxing work attire that could also adapt as day-to-night outfits. This is how she came to design those timeless, versatile pieces that you can basically wear all day and feel great in.

After unveiling ‘Hope’, an exceptional debut collection for Spring Summer 2021, the brand then launched the limited edition ‘Linen Rose’ capsule collection. Paying tribute to the brand’s value for women empowerment, this collection featured five statement designs in a gorgeous soft-toned dusty pink; the range comprised a crop top, paper-bag waist shorts, a summer blazer, flowy belted trousers and a button-down slit skirt – all created using natural linen for an elegant effect.

As for ‘Hope’, the collection boasted nineteen sophisticated pieces, all made with natural materials from Italy and Japan. The vision behind this one was “to optimistically inspire the woman of today to look forward, beyond the foreseeable obstacles, and strive to achieve greatness.”

To learn more about the mind behind this brand, Sabrina is a Lebanese fashion entrepreneur, who was determined to see something great come out of the crazy commotion that was 2020.  While choosing the name ‘Lili Blanc’ is a testament to how much she loves the flower, it also portrays “the strength the ‘Lili Blanc woman’ carries as she adapts to challenging and changing environments, whilst coming stronger and blossoming beautifully.”

In an interview with Mojeh, Sabrina also talked about the challenges she has faced along the way – “Starting from sourcing to production, everyone was taking their precautions due to the virus. We had to account for a lot of expected delays with delivery, at each step. The entire conceptualisation, production and launch journey was a supremely time and energy- consuming process, but I always believe in hope, and for sure, the launch was worth all the challenges we faced leading up to it. The debut collection was created with the belief that in every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater opportunity, and this is a motto I will continue to believe in for every step in the future.”

Her brand vision is to ultimately create an option for the busy woman to go seamlessly about her day, while also looking very fashion forward.
