Louis Vuitton has stepped into the world of beauty with the official launch of its first-ever makeup line, La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The debut, teased earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week F/W ’25, brings together the house’s heritage of craftsmanship and the visionary artistry of Dame Pat McGrath, who now serves as Creative Director of the collection.

McGrath — a longtime creative force backstage at Louis Vuitton shows — has designed an expansive range that redefines the concept of luxury beauty. The collection includes 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and 8 eyeshadow palettes, each crafted with precision and artistic flair.

The lipstick line alone makes a statement, offering 27 creamy finishes and 28 mattes, with the total number — 55 — playfully echoing Louis Vuitton’s iconic initials, LV, which also signify 55 in Roman numerals. McGrath describes the line as “extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation,” noting that the vision goes beyond product to create an entirely new dimension of luxury beauty.

With shades designed to be universally flattering across all skin tones and occasions, La Beauté signals a bold new chapter for Louis Vuitton, merging its fashion legacy with a beauty universe destined to become just as iconic.
