NROUH LEBA’EED.. Hisham Kharma and Johanna Morkos’s New Song in a Destination-driven Music Project Kickstarts from El Gouna
Music composer & producer Hisham Kharma has announced his collaboration with Lebanese singer and violinist Johanna Morkos in launching a new music project celebrating touristic and archaeological destinations, and kickstarting from El Gouna. The new project mixes between songs, music, and a a music video that features footage from the location, in addition to music that expresses both.
Written and performed by Johanna Morkos, composed and arranged by Kharma, NROUH LEBA’EED is the first song in this unique project, which concentrates on El Gouna, as one of the attractive destinations in Egypt.
Commenting on the new project, Hisham Kharma says, “This is one of the projects I have always wanted to do, which is creating a mix unit between music, lyrics, and visuals through a light, positive, and unconventional music video. NROUH LEBA’EED is the first song in this project, and we chose El Gouna because of its unique nature. The project is expected to include songs and music tracks that shed light on tourist and archaeological cities around the world.”
Hisham adds, “For a long time I wanted to collaborate with Johanna Morkos. She is an authentic and proficient artist, who has a great talent for songwriting. I’m delighted that we have finally collaborated on this special project together.”
Lately, Kharma has participated in The Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Opening at Cairo Stadium. During a live show at, Kharma performed his music accompanied with his orchestra, in addition to a dancing show of 300 players from all over Egypt. His music has also been played again at the prizes ceremony and the VIPs’ entrance.
