Amir El-Masry Calls for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza at the BAFTA Scotland Awards Ceremony

During the BAFTA Scotland Awards Ceremony, Egyptian star Amir El-Masry made a statement on the red carpet emphasizing the need for a ceasefire in Gaza. Before presenting the award for Best Actress, he stated, “Before I start I just want to say that my heart goes out to all the Women men and children who are currently suffering right now in Gaza. Let’s hope for peace in the region and an imminent Ceasefire.”

It is worth mentioning that BIFA, the British Independent Film Awards has selected Amir El-Masry to compete for the Best Supporting Performance Award for his role in the film In Camera. Through his official social media pages, Amir El Masry commented on this nomination, saying, “I’m nominated for the Best Supporting Performance award for my role in the film In Camera. Good news, but what is happening in the world makes me feel very heavy about it…”
