During the upcoming months, Jordanian star Rakeen Saad is waiting for the release of three TV dramas. The second season of Rivo is scheduled to be released in June, while the new series The Butcher of Giza and Al Rawabi School for Girls are expected to be released soon. 

Within The Butcher of Giza, Rakeen plays the role of Zina. Based on true events, the 8-episode series The Butcher of Giza is scheduled to be aired on the Shahid platform. Alongside Rakeen Saad, the series stars Ahmed Fahmi, Bassem Samra, Hanan Youssef and Salah Abdullah. Directed by Hadi El Bagoury, The Butcher of Giza is written by Mohamed Salah El Azab and the writing workshop by Injy Abou El Seoud and Emad Mutter. 

The second season of Rivo is slated to be released on the Watch IT platform. In Rivo, Rakeen plays the role of Maryam who continues her journey of struggle to direct her deceased father’s script about Rivo band, one of the most famous bands in the 1990s. Rivo stars Rakeen Saad, Amir Eid, Sedky Sakhr, Tamer Hashem, Hassan Abu Al-Rous, Sarah Abdel Rahman, Mina El Naggar, and Mohsen Mohi Eldin. Rivo is written by Mohamed Nayer and directed by Yahya Ismail. 

Rakeen Saad is back to high school with the character of Noaf in Al Rawabi School for Girls. This comes after the great success achieved in the first season on Netflix and topping the Netflix Trends during its release. Alongside Rakeen Saad, Al Rawabi School for Girls stars Andria Tayeh, Noor Taher, Joanna Arida, Salsabiela A, Yara Mustafa, alongside stars Nadera Emran and Reem Saadeh. The series is directed by Tima Shomali. Al Rawabi School for Girls is a co-production between Netflix and Filmizion Productions. 

Rakeen Saad excelled in portraying complex characters such as her role as Noaf in Netflix’s Al Rawabi School for Girls. The series topped Netflix’s trends in the Arab world during its release. Rakeen also took part in the film The Knower. She competed in the 2018 Ramadan season with her role in Bel Hagm el A’eli with veteran star Yehia El-Fakharany. Rakeen was famous for her role as Malika in Sunset Oasis TV drama. In 2022, Rakeen showed her ability to portray characters who live in psychological struggle, through the character of Maryam in Rivo series and the character of Rahma in the Etezan series, which were released on the Watch IT platform.

Rakeen Saad participated in many Arab works such as the film The Worthy, the TV series Samarqand, and the film 3000 Nights, which was Jordan’s official submission to the 2017 Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Rakeen received her Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Exeter in the UK and participated in several workshops and acting courses in cinema and TV in Canada and Egypt.
