Soprano Amira Selim and Maestro Nair Nagy have an artistic relationship that dates back to many years of cooperation, which began with her first concert in Cairo and was accompanied by Maestro Nair Nagy on the piano, and cooperation continued in various concerts in Egypt, including performances at the Egyptian Opera House and annual Christmas parties, and also outside Egypt In Morocco, Algeria and elsewhere, she also accepted Nair’s invitation in March of last year at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina to present a work by the Russian author Gillier.

At the same time, she is considered a princess and is known for playing the role of the “Queen of the Night” in the opera “The Magic Flute.” It is one of the most famous melodies in the field of operatic lyrical art. He sings it, and that is why the type of voice is rare, and not found in abundance. Amira presented it in the music album “Mozart Al-Masry” in 2005, to the French musician “Houg de Corson” with a classical Egyptian arrangement, and he used Egyptian instruments such as the tabla, the flute, and various vocal variations, in addition to her participation in The centenary celebration of the birth of composer Mozart in Vienna in 2006, and it was broadcast on various European channels, where she drew attention by adding the Egyptian rhythmic touch in movement and sound. She also performed this role several times throughout her artistic career abroad and at home, including at the Egyptian Opera House, The Opera of Lille, Nat, Biarritz, Limoges, the Opera of Marseille, and the Sigale Theater in Paris.
