“Ayam”, the latest work of musician Mohamed Nawara, with the voice of Wael El-Fashni

Musician Mohamed Nawara is preparing to release his latest artwork, the song “Ayam”, which is music and words by Mohamed Nawara and sung by singer Wael El-Fashni.

Mohamed Nawara stated that the final touches are being put to the video clip, which was directed by the young director Ahmed Wahba, who presents through this video a new creative work that is added to his distinguished works, as he made a wonderful and innovative dramatic idea in addition to the same directing method that came through ” one-shot take”, which is shooting the entire song at once without any cuts or additions. The camera works from the beginning of the song to the end of it live, and this is a very difficult artistic technique, but it gives a greater dramatic dimension to the song.

Nawara added, “The technical cooperation with singer Wael El-Fashni came to present this song, as he is one of the most present voices that can embody the dramatic situation, in terms of the music and lyrics. Al-Fashni was known to do invocations and chants and sing the Upper Egypt heritage and re-present it in a different way.

Nawara explained that the song ‘Ayam’ talks about the change in the human conditions over the course of time and the different situations that one goes through, such as separation, treachery, love, joy, sadness, and many more.

The idea started as a musical score, then I decided to turn it into a song because of the drama that needed to make a special lyrical case for it.

The latest artworks by Mohamed Nawara were two of the musical pieces in which the international and Egyptian soprano singer Fatima Saeed sang. The first piece dealt with the story of the development of art through different eras, and the second piece was represented in music for a documentary video during the events of the exhibition Forever is now at the foot of the pyramids.
