In a revival of authentic art and enchantment, three major “Sound of Movies” concerts are soon to take place. The “Sound of Movies” concerts are a new concept launched to celebrate Egypt’s rich heritage of cinematic lyrical works etched in our collective memory, and to pay homage to 125 years of the timeless movie hit songs.

The first concert will be held on Valentine’s Day, February 14, at the Egyptian Opera House. The second concert will take place on March 10 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the third at the El-Borouj Theater in El Shorouk, details of which will be announced soon.

Star singer Medhat Saleh is preparing for the live performance of a collection of movie hits by famous artists. He will be accompanied by star Reham Abdel Hakim and the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Nayer Nagui.

These concerts follow the stellar success of Medhat Saleh’s last “Sound of Movies” concert when he sang a reorchestration of some of the greatest hit songs of Egyptian movies. That concert also featured Singer Reham Abdel Hakim and the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Nayer Nagui. The concert proved a hit with Egyptian and Arab guests who called for more such concerts which remind them of authentic music and songs.

The last “Sound of Movies” concert included a selection of timeless songs, such as “Ashank Ya Qamar” by Abdel Halim Hafez from the movie Days and Nights, and “My Heart is My Guide” by Laila Murad from the movie “My Heart is My Guide,” and The World is a Feather in the Air” by Saad Abdel Wahab from the movie “Teach Me Love”.

By organizing these concerts in Egypt, the MBC Group and RMC company seek to focus on authentic art and the role of Egypt as a center for the arts in the region. They also aim to boost art tourism and give a positive image of Egypt. The arts of all kinds deserve to become an essential component of tourism in Egypt and one of the elements of tourism promotion.

RMC Company, the organizer of the event, said that all technical and logistical services will be impeccable, stressing that the audience will enjoy the performance to the maximum due to the flawless organization.
