Embracing the comforting spirit of the season, Pink partnered with The Jed Foundation to create a meaningful holiday campaign. Starring the beloved actress and producer Lana Condor along with actress and mental health advocate Lexi Underwood, a special four-part video series, titled ‘Unwrapped’, highlights the need to prioritize self-care this season.
You can now shop and browse through ‘Lana Condor’s Faves’ on the official website, and discover a variety of holiday gift ideas. The home-friendly brand will also be donating $200,000 to The Jed Foundation, as it launches an online hub which provides tools and resources on how to face some of the stressful challenges that sometimes come with this season.
Elaborating on the campaign vision, Amy Hauk, CEO of Victoria’s Secret Pink, said, “While the holiday season is a time for celebrating and spreading cheer, we recognize it can also be overwhelming, so it’s important to take time for yourself and practice self-care. We want to provide a support system and resources for our customers, so they can ‘unwrap’ their best selves during this season and in the new year ahead.”
On her role in the campaign, Condor said, “I’m so excited to partner with Pink to celebrate the holidays this year! I’m really proud to be a part of their Unwrapped campaign because mental health is something that’s very personal to me, and it’s so important that we create an open dialogue. For me, self-care during this time means snuggling with my dogs, and being as comfy and cozy as possible – if anyone’s looking for me, I’ll be on my couch in my favorite Pink sweats and slippers!”
‘Unwrapped’ showcases Lana and Lexi’s personal takes on the classic holiday variety show, and they talk about the need to sometimes press pause on the busyness of life and take care of yourself. The series even featured cameos from Utkarsh Ambudkar, Rayvon Owen, and more surprise guests.
Underwood commented, “I had so much fun working with Lana and the PINK team on the Unwrapped video series. I love watching all the holiday specials and variety shows every year and getting to put on my own was such a cool experience. I’m honored to partner with PINK and The Jed Foundation as they are not only supporting our mental health, but they continuously give back and lift up young adults from all backgrounds and communities.”
