The story, of course, begins with Mohamed Al Sagheer, who worked alongside some of the biggest names in the field before he traveled to France in 1971 to master the trade, learning under his mentor, Alexandre de Paris. Two years later, he came back and became one of the first ‘haute coiffeurs’ in the region.

Now shouldering his father’s legacy, Mostafa Al Sagheer recently launched the most luxurious salon branch at New Arkan in Sheikh Zayed.
Inspired by the design concept of Galeries Lafayette, it is such a dreamy beauty haven. Evidently, the main direction for the interior was an elegant, fancy feel. Mohamed Al Sagheer always had a brand strategy to come up with a fabulous upgrade every ten years, so the New Arkan salon was his big dream for this season. While keen to be part of this state-of-the-art destination, Al Sagheer’s branch in the old Arkan is still a special space dedicated to females only.
Aside from the posh appeal, we are told that the staff was handpicked from a list of the most talented, specially trained, fresh new generation of beauticians. All signature female and male services are provided in this branch, in addition to the Biologique Recherche spa, which adds a whole new dimension to this luxury experience. It is also exciting to note that the brand recently launched the Al Sagheer Natural line, offering a variety of exceptional, healthy products for your hair and skincare needs.
Being an official beauty partner at the Gouna Film Festival for the fifth year was definitely a continuation of Mohamed Al Sagheer’s success at the prestigious festival, along with many other fashion, beauty and art events. Mostafa told us, “This year, it felt very weird that he was not there, but his soul and inspirations were all around. Not that I’m biased, but I was so proud of all the looks our team created. They were well-prepared in Al Sagheer Academy to create all the latest trends in hair and makeup looks, which were revealed on the red carpet and various events throughout the festival. We were also so happy to achieve his dream of being the exclusive beauty partner for hair and makeup at GFF21, and I believe we did it successfully.”
