Dolce & Gabbana’s Sunday late afternoon Alta Moda runway extravaganza at the Piazzetta San Marco in Venice, remained true and authentic to its grandiose location with a march of chairlifts, a dazzling hue colouring the skyline, and the best of celebrities that bedazzled and served us looks.
Models adorned in silks, textures, and bright rhinestones descended by gondola to stroll before a throng that also included A-list celebrities. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana stated in a release,
“For us, Venice represents the perfect harmony of opposites that attract: it is romantic and sensual, melancholic and joyful, rational and visionary, luminous and nocturnal, sacred and profane, dark and golden,”
Lady Kitty Spencer, who wore Dolce & Gabbana to her wedding, was in sight.
