Dubbed as ‘The New Queen of Country’ by global media, Jessica Lynn’s music career is taking off faster than a rocket. The New York songbird has been touring more than fourteen countries in the past four years and has been featured on Billboard, CMT and in American Songwriter Magazine. Recently, she announced that her upcoming debut solo album, ‘Lone Rider’, will incorporate immersive AR video content designed by StraxAR, and now we’re more than excited about it!
Diving into the details of the creative process, Lynn explained, “Partnering with StraxAR allowed me to marry my passion for music with my obsession with new, groundbreaking tech. The team at StraxAR opened the door to cultivate yet another avenue of artistic expression that allowed me to connect with my fans in ways that are personally relevant and emotionally meaningful. With the help of StraxAR, Lone Rider will not only share my music, but also convey insights into what drives me as an artist.”
Set to be released soon by Daydreamer Records , the album will provide the opportunity for fans to creatively unlock custom programming on all the thirteen songs featured in it. That includes behind-the-scenes videos, liner notes and bonus original content Lynn created in collaboration with StraxAR for a more personal experience of the album.
After launching three successful nationwide concert television specials and musical collaborations with country legends, like Loretta Lynn and Keith Urban, Lynn shifted her focus from live performance to digital content that can reach her growing international audience, especially in the midst of, say, a global pandemic. Her fans can now use the StraxAR app to unlock words from the album’s sleeve, front or back cover, in order to gain instant access to each song’s AR content that Lynn has prepared, so listeners can engage more with the backstory of every song and learn more about how it originated.
Early collaboration with Strax was in the form of live streams, immersive audience participation, along with custom AR in Lynn’s online store, which actually helped in boosting ticket and merch sales, and bringing more traffic to her music on YouTube and Spotify.
On joining forces with the artist, Eric Singleton, CEO of StraxAR, said, “Jessica Lynn’s artistic collaboration with StraxAR created the perfect blueprint for celebrities and brands looking to foster deeper consumer connections by leveraging the power of AR in ways never before seen. Jessica’s artistic vision challenged us and allowed us to develop new and innovative applications of our industry-leading AR technology. The Jessica Lynn and StraxAR approach is the new engagement model for all artists and brands hoping to bring their relationships with their fans even closer.”
