Dellaluna Venezia Unveils Middle East Exclusive Handbag

Paying a beautiful tribute to Arab culture, the Italian luxury brand Dellaluna Venezia revealed a new statement design of the limited-edition Dogaressa this Ramadan. Reimagined specifically for its Middle Eastern market, this Dellaluna clutch is definitely one of a kind. It was originally named ‘Dogaressa’ after the Queen of Venice, and designed to embody a rich royal aesthetic.

Made of fine leather covered with 24-carat gold leaf, the limited-edition bag flaunts very elaborate details that draw inspiration from arabesque patterns and Venetian palazzo ceilings; in a sense, the design honors two different worlds that seem to have always had a similar knack for art and architecture. You can definitely tell that this Middle East exclusive clutch is designed as a piece of high-end accessory for the most part, rather than a daily wear type of bag.

As you would expect with every Dellaluna luxury piece, the ‘Dogaressa’ is handmade by skilled artisans and marked with the brand’s signature ‘Leone e Stella’ in 18-carat plated gold. If you’re not familiar with it, it happens to be a historical symbol that the brand refers to as a good luck charm. Moreover, the limited-edition piece exhibits three sleek chains made of hand-moulded, 18-carat plated gold, which allows it to also be worn over the shoulder or as a sophisticated bracelet.

With a brand identity drenched in the celebration of creativity, culture and craftsmanship, Maison Dellaluna was founded by Gregory Reznik and Silvia Paulon in Venice. From leather handbags to fine jewellery and perfumes, all of their products are either one-of-a-kind or produced in limited edition. They are also exclusively handmade by their trusted artisans who use creative know-hows passed down between generations.

“At Dellaluna, we believe in luxury that privileges timelessness over trend. Our Venetian heritage is a constant reminder that beauty and sustainability are indissociable parts of the same aspirational vision. Our leather and jewelry pieces are crafted to stand the test of time and we hope to be kept as precious mementos to accompany a joyful and meaningful journey,” the founders have shared.

If you’re still wondering about their iconic ‘Leone e Stella’ symbol mentioned earlier, it is translated as, “The star will guide while the Lion looks over your journey.”
