Already known to have panache and dauntless flair, Bruno Mars just invented a designer alter ego, called Ricky Regal, as he teamed up with Lacoste to launch his very first lifestyle brand. You can’t picture the collaboration until you see it with your very eyes – Mars’ amazing personality merged with Lacoste’s iconic style of sport and luxury.
“I’ve been very fortunate to have been asked to do collaborations in the past, but it always came with guidelines. Lacoste was the first and only brand that said, ‘Bruno we want you to make this truly yours.’ The respect of such creative freedom coming from a heritage fashion house was an honor,” he said.
The Lacoste x Ricky Regal collection is a range of ready-to-wear clothing, footwear and accessories. You will find everything Bruno from silk fluid shirts and pop tracksuits to a stylish pair of aviator sunglasses. Somehow, the sportswear pieces are along both lines of casual and dressy. And of course, the color palette is eye-catching, to say the least: mustard yellow, petrol blue, eggplant purple, coral red and tie-dye.
