Sally Abdel-Salam Becomes a Fashion Icon

It is no secret that Sally Abdel-Salam is the radio’s sweetheart. We thank the universe and Tarek Abu El-Souod for giving Sally the amazing opportunity to be a presenter. She said herself that she’d be a legend, and here she is, living up to what she said. Known for her spontaneity, honesty, great sense of humor and outstanding personality, she has earned the love of many. Not only has she gained a huge audience from her creative, humorous radio programs, but she also dazzled people on social media platforms, building an even bigger base that admires her and her style.

Apart from being a remarkable radio and even TV host, she’s also been credited for being a fashion icon. She keeps serving tremendous looks and great content featuring gorgeous makeup, charming hairstyles and elegant outfits to the point where she became among the leading fashion and beauty icons in the Arab World.

With an Instagram following of 889k, she takes it upon herself to give style tips and lessons through her personal account – something we all appreciate. Recently, Abdel-Salam even topped Google search engines and was trending after appearing on her show titled ‘Qesa Haqeqya’. In that episode, she recounted the story that has put her in a bad mental state for a period of time, referring to her cancelled wedding. As a result, she started crying on air and praised her fans and audience for their immense support for her, saying, “We started this show to make you happy. I never imagined that your messages and comments would make me happy.”

She went on explaining how her wedding was supposed to be this month but instead it got cancelled. “I showed up at the studio crying multiple times this month before going on-air.” With that said, Sally is a great reminder for how strong every woman going through a heartbreak phase in her life should live and how she dealt with it must have been relatable and inspiring for many.
