Princess Raiyah of Jordan & Roald Dahl’s Grandson Tie the Knot in A Remote Ceremony

Princess Raiyah bint Al Hussein took twitter by storm; when she announced her wedlock to Ned Donovan on the seventh of July. In a statement, “Thank you all for your kind messages on our wedding! While it was originally planned for April in Jordan, the pandemic derailed those plans and it was safer for my husband’s family to hold it in the UK.”, she said.

They joined in matrimony this week while still planning on celebrating in Jordan as once was planned, commenting “God willing we look forward to celebrating in Jordan once the situation allows”.

The ceremony took place in a courtyard where guests were seated in-distance from each other. The princess wore an astonishing long-sleeved bridal gown with lace embroidery all over, the look was impeccably completed with her delicate long veil. Whereas the groom wore a traditional prestigious blue suit.

Queen Noor, Raiyah’s mother, wore a matching brooch as that of her daughter’s. This royal couple preferred to get married in a small ceremony than to postpone the wedding further.
