Announcing the release of their spring 2020 collection, the beloved celebrity eyewear brand Privé Revaux introduces reader shades for the first time that you can rock while at home or out on COVID-19 approved activity. As advised by experts, wearing glasses can help you keep your hands from touching your eyes and your face to prevent spreading germs.
“As a company, we are complying with the necessary rules of regulations of the CDC in order to better protect our consumers at this time, both through our product and our procedures,” said David Schottenstein, founder of Privé Revaux. “We want our customers to feel safe when receiving their products and not have to compromise on fashion, quality craftsmanship and an affordable price point.”
Building on the success of the blue light blocking readers, the new sun collection offers a variety of frames for all vision levels. The seasonal frames come in the following categories:
Spring Sun – ‘essential classics and updated trend designs in a rainbow of hues and silhouettes’
Spring Blue Light & Readers – ‘reading glasses with 0.75 – 3.50 magnification, paired with advanced UVA/UVB protection and anti-blue light technology in fresh new designs’
LA VITA Spring – ‘custom and handmade high-polished acetate frames made in Italy, 3D designs on end pieces and temples, as well as gold-plated hinges and rivets.’
With a vision to bring an unprecedented value to customers, the brand was founded by Jamie Foxx, Ashley Benson, Hailee Steinfeld, entrepreneur David Schottenstein, VP of Celebrity Relations Dave Osokow and Creative Directors Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.
Here are the steps they’re taking to combat COVID-19
“Our preventive action plan is based on the CDC guidelines. Our warehouse is open, but under the following strict guidelines to help all stay safe and healthy. We require mandatory hand washing and sanitizing upon ANY entry into a building (monitored by HR). We sanitize all warehouse work areas during every break. We’ve added additional lunch shifts, so our employees have more separation. All admins have their own offices and are directed to stay in their offices as much as possible. The warehouse is open to employees only. No clients, vendors, food delivery, family/friends, or other visitors are allowed in the building. We’ve established communication and technology protocols if someone has been confirmed sick. All parcels returned to facilities will be quarantined for 72 hours following delivery. The returns process will begin after this time has elapsed. This protocol will help ensure the safety of our employees as they are handling outside parcels directly from the public.”
